Custom paver patio installation in Raleigh, NC, and across the Triangle. MC Landscaping & Hardscape designs and builds paver patios that handle NC weather, drain properly, and stay level for decades — because the base prep is done right the first time.
From simple back-yard patios to multi-tier outdoor living spaces with seating walls and built-in features, we deliver paver work that looks great and stays great.
Our paver patio installation is tailored to how you'll use the space — dining, lounging, entertaining, or all three. We integrate the patio with your landscape, drainage, and existing hardscape so it looks intentional, not added on.
We focus on base prep, edge restraint, proper slope for drainage, and premium materials — the four things that determine whether a paver patio lasts 30 years or settles in 3.
We provide a complete range of paver patio services, including:
Concrete Paver Patios
Natural Stone & Travertine Patios
Multi-Level Patios with Seating Walls
Patio Extensions & Connection to Existing Hardscape
Outdoor Kitchen & Fire Pit Integration
Every project begins with a detailed consultation where we discuss layout, materials, drainage, and how you want the space to function. We then design and install a patio that becomes the new center of your outdoor life.
Based in Fuquay-Varina, we serve homeowners across the Triangle — including Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Garner, Knightdale, Wake Forest, and Hillsborough. From small starter patios to full outdoor living buildouts, we handle every size of project.

Most failed paver patios trace back to one of two things: inadequate base depth or missing edge restraint. Oscar personally inspects every base before a single paver goes down, and Alexis handles client communication from consult through final walkthrough. Owner-overseen, no shortcuts.

Most residential paver patios run $18–$35 per square foot installed. A typical 400 sq ft backyard patio is in the $8,000–$14,000 range. Premium materials (travertine, natural stone) and curves/multi-level designs run higher.
Most patios take 3–7 days from start to finish: 1 day for excavation, 1–2 days for base prep, 2–3 days for paver install, 1 day for edging and joint sand. Larger or multi-level projects can run 1–2 weeks.
Concrete pavers and travertine are the most durable choices for NC's freeze-thaw cycles. Both handle clay soil, heavy rain, and seasonal temperature swings without cracking or shifting when installed correctly.
Minimal — sweep occasionally, refresh joint sand every 2–3 years, and address any settled areas (rare with proper base prep). Polymeric sand sealing extends life and prevents weed growth between pavers.
Sometimes — depends on the condition and slope of the existing slab. We evaluate during the on-site consultation. In many cases, removing and starting fresh produces a better long-term result.
